Resposta da turma da Inglaterra à atividade 1

Pessoal, vejam só que interessante! Os alunos da professora Christine Wicker, da cidade de Widness, na Inglaterra, responderam o nosso questionário, elaborado pelo 1ºH, e estão ansiosos para continuar as atividades do projeto. Segue abaixo o questionário todo em inglês. Depois posto a tradução.

1.What is the name of the city and the school where you study?
Ashley School. Town in Widnes. County of Cheshire North West of England 8 miles from Liverpool

2.What is the average age of you?
11 to 16 years old.

3.What do you like in your school?
We go on lots of visits. Setting of school and school grounds we have a big field. It is small for a high school. Teachers are nice, helpful and care about us.

4.What do you like in your town?
There are Youth Clubs and a Cinema. The town is quite small. There is a theatre. It is easy to get to. The bus service is good.

5.What do you like to do in your free time?
Go to cinema. Sports like swimming and horse – riding. Listen to music, use mobile phones. Go for family days out.

6.What kind of music do you like to hear? And Dancing?
Salsa dancing, just dance on Nintendo Wii, RnB, House music, Shakira, 30 seconds to mars, boy bands, killers.

7.What are your favourite sports?
Swimming, Horse-riding, tramp lining and dodgeball.

8.How is your day to day in your school? Schedule, routine?
Monday to Friday. 9am – 3.25 pm. Literacy and 5 lessons. 20 minutes break in morning snack bar. 1 hour for dinner - school dinner or packed lunch.

9.What are your favourite school subjects?
Food Technology, Art, Childcare, Youth Award, Drama and Motor Vehicle Studies.

10.Is there some kind of bullying in your school?
Not much but sometimes but we report it and it is dealt with.

11.What languages do you study at school.
German from 11 – 14 years old.

12.Is there a foreign student in your school?
One, Charly is French – Moroccan speaks English a little French Arabic and Spanish.

13.What impressions do you have about your own school?
We love our school. It is small and friendly place. There are only 80 students. Everybody knows each other it is like a big family unit.

14.Do you have any knowledge about Brazil? What impressions do you have about the country and the Brazilian people?
We know very little a bit about Brazil. They have a great football team.

15.What are the typical parties or festivals celebrated by you?
Christmas, Boxing Day, Easter, Birthdays, Mothers / Father’s day, Valentine’s Day, New Year (Eve), Remembrance Day, Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day)

16.What do teens usually do for fun?
Hang out with mates. Listen to music. Play on P.C’s and game consoles (PS3, Xbox)

17.What are your favourite dishes?
Roast Dinner, Steak, Pizza, Fish and Chips and Noodles.

18.Do you have any curiosity about Brazil?
